FlowCue LED Status Guide
The light on your FlowCue device shows what it is doing. Brief flashes are normal. Use the guide below when a colour or pattern stays on or repeats.
Normal Operation
| Light | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Solid blue | FlowCue is powered on and operating normally. | No action is needed. |
| Brief green flash | FlowCue has detected water flow. | No action is needed. |
| Brief yellow flash after pressing the button | FlowCue has registered the button press. | Continue with the instruction in the app. |
Setup and Calibration
| Light | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Slow flashing blue | FlowCue is ready for Wi-Fi setup in the app. | Keep your phone nearby and continue Wi-Fi setup. |
| Slow pulsing green | Calibration is waiting for water to run. | Turn on a steady faucet and follow the app prompts. |
| Fast flashing green | Calibration is in progress. | Keep the device in place and let calibration finish. |
Connection and Device Attention
| Light | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Solid red | FlowCue is not connected to your home Wi-Fi. | Check that your Wi-Fi is working, then follow the Wi-Fi Troubleshooting guide. |
| Fast flashing red | FlowCue is connected to your home Wi-Fi but cannot reach the internet. | Check that your home internet connection is working. If it is and the red flashing continues, contact FlowCue support. |
| Three or five slow red flashes, followed by a pause | FlowCue detected a device issue while starting up. | Contact FlowCue support and describe the pattern you see. |
| No light | FlowCue may not be receiving power. | Check that the adapter is firmly connected and that the outlet has power. If the light stays off, contact FlowCue support. |
Software Update
Alternating green and blue means FlowCue is installing a software update. Keep it connected to power and do not press the button or unplug it until the normal blue light returns.
During a Factory Reset
If you are intentionally resetting FlowCue and see rapid red flashing that changes to rapid green flashing, the reset is underway. Do not use a factory reset unless you have been instructed to do so. See Factory Reset Your FlowCue Device for the full instructions.
