Installing FlowCue on Your Water Meter

When installing the FlowCue sensor on your water meter, proper placement is essential for accurate readings. Use the checklist below to ensure a correct installation:

General Notes

If there are wires coming out of your meter, that’s okay. Simply move them aside as much as possible during installation.

The FlowCue sensor must sit snugly against the side of the meter so it cannot shift, and it must remain parallel to the pipe that passes through the meter body.

Installation Checklist

• The FlowCue sensor is tightened firmly and securely around the meter.
• The FlowCue sensor is perfectly parallel to the pipe running through the meter.
• The FlowCue sensor sits directly and flat against the meter surface. Keep wires, tape, and debris clear of the contact area.
• The placement of the FlowCue sensor does not interfere with opening or closing the meter lid.

If everything on this list is correct, your FlowCue sensor should be positioned optimally for reliable performance.
