Installing Flow on your water meter

When installing the Flow Sensor on your water meter, proper placement is essential for accurate readings. Use the checklist below to ensure a correct installation:

General Notes

If there are wires coming out of your meter, that’s okay. Simply move them aside as much as possible during installation.

The Flow Sensor must sit snugly against the side of the meter so it cannot shift, and it must remain parallel to the pipe that passes through the meter body.

Installation Checklist

The Flow Sensor is tightened firmly and securely around the meter.
The Flow Sensor is perfectly parallel to the pipe running through the meter.
There is nothing between the Flow Sensor and the meter surface — no straps, wires, tape, or debris.
The placement of the Flow Sensor does not interfere with opening or closing the meter lid.

If everything on this list is correct, your Flow Sensor should be positioned optimally for reliable performance.
